![]() This program has been to the moon and back since then. "Love the new features in 2023! Started using Band in a Box way back in the early nineties. WOW!! What a writing toolbox! I am just so impressed so far." "I just picked up the 2023 BIAB Pro, and have started educating myself on its intricacies and upgrades from previous versions. It has kept me upgrading ever since and 2023 is amazing. "I've been using it since 1991 which was a primitive DOS version for midi development through midi keyboards. "This program has gotten better every year for the past thirty years and I couldn't live without it now!" I use mostly the real tracks and very little of midi." Has been great for writing songs, practice and jamming. One of the best musical investments I've made. "I've had Band-in-a-Box for past 5 years. Wow - we've been receiving some great feedback from Band-in-a-Box® users! The "midi only" template will pop up ready to go in seconds. Also I have recently configure Reaper to quickly open a default screen which allows any number of templates to be selected. Reaper does permit multiple projects open similtaneously. So if an off line solution does not exist I believe I can adjust my workflow in Reaper to isolate the midi track when needed. So I was hoping for somenthing "off line" to work on midi and move it into the DAW when it is cleaned up. The problem is if I am just doing midi screening while in the middle of a big project I run the risk of messing thing up which can compromise my overall project. The problem is when I work in Reaper I generally have very complex arrangments with many tracks (audio and midi). Actually, best for me has been midiyodi, but it has recently been failing me. I have looked for something to manage my midi like this for years. Ya, I have looked at just about all these options and they are not meeting my needs/wants.
