![]() We had no issue with the parking lot at all. Cheerful, welcoming and more than accommodating. This location has been the best despite its unflattering location. We have been staying in Hampton Inns up and down the California coast. If Hilton actually cares, I have photos to support every claim. I am extremely disheartened and still pretty frustrated about the entire experience. The best thing about my stay was the bottles of water. This all would be classless and poor practice in normal times, however, in a Global Pandemic, this is completely negligent. The “upgraded” room had no view like the one the manager had advertised, had a shower door that would not stay shut, had a giant stain on the couch, and was never once cleaned by housekeeping. The manager stated she was sorry for our inconvenience, offered me an upgraded room, comped the valet parking, and gave me four bottles of water. This had horrible undertones of a hotel looking to quickly sell a room which was already otherwise committed, which is an absolutely horrible business practice. I told her I could have given her a different card, but this could’ve been handled at booking, rather than an hour before my arrival from the other side of the country. She stated that the card on file was not valid. The next day, arriving at the hotel after sleeping in a rental car, we spoke to the manager who stated they attempted to call atleast five times. Once landing and receiving my e-mail notifying me at 9pm that I would not have a hotel room, I was told by both the hotel and Hilton Honors that there was nothing they could do. Can’t wait to see yal again!…Īs a twenty year, currently Diamond tier Member of Hilton Honors, I did not expect my confirmed reservation to be cancelled while I was on a transcontinental flight for six hours. You could tell this was pretty new and if I returned I will be staying here. We never made it to the pool or the fitness center. Business Center was open, I did use it also. Because of covid, service is not done everyday, u do have to request it. Staff – everyone was SPECTACULAR Housekeeping – we requested full service once and just kept getting new towels the other days. Parking – worth it, always felt safe Security – I felt safe and noticed a guard working over the weekend. I'm sure when restriction lift, they will go back to the Hampton traditions. We were there for a while and it was just what we needed. Checkin – spectacular late at night and customer service was at an all time high! Room – clean neat amazing spacious – we got the King Studio Suite. I had also reserved a “5 star” in Beverly Hills, but saw sooooooooooooo many negative revies, that I’m glad I canceled and chose this Hampton Inn & Suites. The best decision I made for my sneak away to LA.
